This is the chance you’ve been waiting for. For once you’ll see Strings Attached for a full set. Strings Attached is Henry Plant, on flat pick guitar and haunting vocals, Peter Neumegen on sweet sounding guitar, David Wood on understated mandolin, Susan Nihotte on striking fiddle, and Garry Trotman underpinning the whole thing on solid bass.
The highlight is the melding of the two guitars, and with the addition of mandolin and bass this is going to be worth the wait.
Warming up with the Jam Tarts
After a floor singer or two, the Jam Tarts will play a warm up set to close the first half. They often play a floor spot, but with the work they put in they’ve earned a longer spot. With the irrepressible and new life member Conni Ruff on guitar and vocals, Bill Morrison on mandolin and authentic vocals, and Helen Adams tastefully embellishing with fiddle, this will be a lot of fun. Oh, and custard square Pete Parnham will help the Jam Tarts out on bass.
